About the Node

The South Australia Cyber Security Innovation Node was established in late 2018, a partnership between the SA Government and AustCyber to accelerate the growth of the SA’s cyber security sector in alignment with AustCyber’s national mission. The South Australia Node is a part of AustCyber’s National Network of Nodes, which fosters and accelerates cyber capability development, innovation and commercialisation across Australia.

The SA Node works closely with SA Government, industry and academic and research institutions in SA. The SA Node is guided by an Industry Advisory Group (IAG). The IAG is responsible for promoting the SA cyber security industry, providing advice and direction to the SA Node on the implementation of the Node’s work plan.

SA Government’s partnership with AustCyber is an important step in the advancement of the cyber security industry in SA. The Node is growing and showcasing skills in cyber, while strengthening collaboration between South Australia’s private, public and academic sectors, particularly in the priority areas of space, defence and the supply chain, autonomous systems, digital health and education sectors.
